Cover-more, found at www.covermore.co.uk, offers single trip travel insurance for trips from three days to 12 months. With them, you’ll have 24 hour access to an emergency assistance team as well. Their travel destinations cover the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and worldwide coverage.

Essential Travel, www.essentialtravel.co.uk, has a policy that includes up to £10 million in medical coverage, £3,000 for cancelled trips, over 70 different sports ranging from archery to scuba diving, and pre-existing medical conditions. You can choose from 4 different coverage levels and they allow trips that last up to 45 days. They also offer 24 hour medical assistance. Their policies start at £7.50 per week and their destinations include Europe, Worldwide including and excluding North America and the Caribbean.

All of Halifax’s, www.halifax.co.uk, insurance policies cover cancellations, medical bills, delayed flights, legal fees and more. There are also options for sports and destinations include the United States, Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean, China, Hong Kong and other destinations.

Destinations included in your honeymoon insurance vary by the insurance company. Make sure that their policy jives with your honeymoon plans! There are some travel insurance companies that will also help you plan your honeymoon trip, which may be something you want to look out for.

As with any trip, it’s important to have protection, so make sure you buy honeymoon insurance. You never know what could happen!
